Our Story
As unusual as it may sound, The Comfort Authority came about out of necessity. In our years in the air conditioning business we learned a lot, and more importantly, we learned a lot about how to do things RIGHT. We learned that many people know how to fix, sell, and replace air conditioners but very few know about real “air conditioning”, climate control and air quality.
Air conditioning should:
Maintain suitable humidity in all parts of a building- Free the air from excessive humidity during certain seasons
- Supply a constant and adequate supply of ventilation
- Efficiently cool room air during certain seasons
- Heat or help heat the rooms in winter
- Be an apparatus that is not cost-prohibitive in purchase or maintenance

In our time in the air conditioning service industry there have been a lot of things we have seen done in people’s homes that do not fit any part of the above definition. We realized that in order to provide air conditioning, the service provider has to be focused on the customer’s needs and wants which will ultimately allow the provider to understand the customer’s true concerns and provide them with practical solutions.
In an epiphany of sorts, we finally understood that to truly focus on the customer experience and truly provide air conditioning we would have to do it ourselves because we didn’t feel there were any air conditioning companies with owners or managers that would support our beliefs. Now we answer directly to those most important to us, which is you, our customers.

Luis arrived earlier than expected, but the office notified me in advance. I thought the communication was great and it worked well for me. He was very thorough, polite and professional. Gage was extremely professional, took his time to explain what he found, and what needed to be done. He corrected the issue and installed a replacement air purifier into our HVAC system. We definitely recommend comfort authority to any neighbors or friends.

Luis and Ura installed a leaking coil in my attic. It was a big job and they did it perfectly. Right on time, very efficient, started at 8:30 and finished by 1:00. They did a wonderful job!
Rick was right on time and very thorough. Informed and explained each step and offered options. Supplied written reports and pictures. Very well done.

Installed new heat pump on Dec 15 2023. Installation was conducted by Gary Clark, Zack and Peter. The whole job took only 7 hours and was done with minimal inconvenience. Very clean and no damage to the walls or floor. Very well done. The technicians were polite, knowledgeable and competent. Better than I expected, 5 stars all around.

Peter and Zack returned on Dec 20 to check things out and adjust some pressures to maximize the performance. Very prompt service and again, well done, 5 stars
